Tire Museum was firstly built in İmaret Mosque and was relocated to its new building in 1971.

The museum collections consist of archeological and local ethnographic works of art. A great number of the creations consist of Roman, Byzantinen and Ottoman works of art.

In the archeology section of the museum, sculptures dated back to 3500 BC – 1100 AD, marble table legs, sarcophagus made of marble and terracotta, glass works of art, oil lamp made of terracotta are exhibited.

Apart from that, electron,golden, silver and bronze coins and jewelery are chronically exhibited in different display windows.

In the ethnograpy section of the museum, handwritten Korans, the goods of dervish convent, writing sets, local clothes, goods for everyday life, sharp and firearms, ceramics from Europe but used in Ottoman Era, various paintings, stained glass, rugs and carpets can be found.

Besides, there is also a collection composed of Çanakkale ceramics.

In the garden of the museum, there are great architectural pieces, sarcophagus and stelae on display.
