Balikesir - Edremit Ayse Sıdıka Erke Ethnography Museum

Ayşe Sıdıka Erke Ethnographic Museum is in Edremit county of Balikesir province.

On the ground floor there is a room reflecting period of Kuva-yi Milliye (refers to Turkish irregular forces in the early period of the Turkish War of Independence), an administrative room and a saloon, which is called hanay, is about 120 sqm. and used for cultural purposes. On the upper floor there are main room and the sofa. In the rooms household items and clothing, which are decorated with traditional art related to the daily life of Edremit during XVII and XIX centuries, are exhibited.
