Edirne Museum of Turkish Islamic Works of Art

In The Museum of Turkish Islamic Works of Art in the madrasah of Dar-ül Tedris which was made with Selimiye Mosque, a work by Mimar Sinan, the works of art are exhibited in 14 rooms.

The Room of Tekke Goods: It is one of the most important rooms of the museum. It is a room in which the goods that were brought together after the closure of the tekkes. The samples of handwritten calligraphy on the walls, two gate wings of Beyazid II Mosque which was made by kündekari technique, a handwritten Koran which was presented by Selim II to Selimiye Mosque and various goods are displayed here.

The Room of Socks: The hand-knitted wool socks that were collected from the different regions of the country.

The Room of Handlings and Tablets: The tablets that were embroidered with silk on atlas, stamp collections applicated on fabric, peşkirs (towels) with handwrittens in Ottoman language, hoops and coverings are located here.

The Rooms of Guns I and II: Various Ottoman guns belonging to end of 17 and 18. and clothes of janissary are exhibited.

The Room of Balkan Wars: The bloody flag that was used in Balkan Wars, bread made of seed of abies and the pictures of the defense lawyer of Edirne, Şükrü Pasha are on display.

The Room of China and Ceramics: Çanakkale ceramics and pots that belong to the end of 18. and the beginning of 19,  early ottoman ceramics, and Ottoman wall ceramics of 15, 16 and 17 are located here.

The Room of Palace Inside: The wall ceramics that pertain to Edirne Palace of 17 are exhibited.

Edirne Guest Room: The crystal mirror and console, armchairs and picture frames on the walls that were made of silkworm cocoon are exhibited.

The Room of Kitchen Utensils: The kitchen goods that were used in Edirne Palace are on display.

The Room of Measuring Tools: Steelyards, height boards related to astronomy, hour glass, okkas and arşın are exhibited.

The Room of Wooden Arts I-II: The wooden arts that were made via edirnekâri technique are exhibited.

Gallery: The epitaphs  of Edine Mosques, inns, Turkish baths, fountains and sebils that disappeared after 15, and the ceilings of Edirne houses that were made in the end of 19 are exhibited.

The Room of Wrestlers: The pictures of the wrestlers who became head wrestlers in Kırkpınar wrestlings and those of Kırkpınar trees are exhibited.

Apart from that, the collection of janissary tombstones has also an important place.
